По ходу субботнего матча гостевые болельщики, добравшиеся до "Кэрроу Роад", принялись скандировать кричалку насчет 20-летнего шотландца, называя того "мальчиком по вызову" ("rent boy").
На эту оскорбляющую чувства геев кричалку обратило внимание объединение ЛГБТ+ болельщиков "Ливерпуля" под названием Kop Outs, после чего последовала реакция со стороны клуба.
"Эта кричалка оскорбительна и неуместна - мы постоянно об этом твердим совместно с Kop Outs. Мы призываем фанатов помнить о ценностях клуба насчет многообразия и воздержаться от использования этого в будущем", - гласит официальное заявление "Ливерпуля" в твиттере.

Самое интересное, что в этой песне нет ни слова не только о Ливерпуле, но и о спорте вообще.
Что значит не для футбола? По моему мнения песня "Youll never walk alone" самая душераздирающая во всёмфутбольном мире! А как её поют фаны ливера! Я считаю что болелбщикам других клубов надо просто стоять и завидовать! НУ как же они всё таки её поют! Так красиво! Просто дух захватывает!

Премудрый Шэнкс включил эту песню перед одним из матчей Ливерпуля(не ливера, ага) и эта песня покорила сердца болельщиков, став гимном клуба

я слышил что "you will never walk alone" какимто раком еще приписывают к Селтику, типо они че то первые начали использовать эту песню.
You will never walk alone впервые стали петь на "Энфилде", и фанаты "Ливерпуля" до сих пор удерживают за собой, так сказать, патент на эту песню. Но теперь это довольно универсальная фанатская песня во всей Великобритании, много где ее поют.
И во сне и на яву, я за ливер пасть порву :)
