Полдела — климат, остальное темперамент. Дайте испанцу летом — тени, зимой — солнца, краюшку хлеба, головку чеснока, ложку оливкового масла, горстку гороха, затасканный бурый плащ и гитару — и всё ему нипочём. Подумаешь, бедность! Он знает, что бедность — не порок. Бедность ему к лицу, вроде драного плаща. Хоть в лохмотьях, а все идальго.
