The Litanies of Ordination are a collection of prayers, psalms, moral guidance and warnings, and a guide to the inscribing and utilization of various basic hexagrammic wards issued to every member of the Ordinators chapter. It is updated every few centuries, and is considered to be an evolving work that embodies the soul of the chapter and acts as one of the ultimate spiritual texts of the chapter. Each Brother-Initiate is expected to be able to recite every word in it from memory before being inducted into a Battleline, Vanguard, Fire Support, or Close Assault Company.

History
The Litanies of Ordination is a tome of psalms, prayers, core virtues and vices, and instructions for basic hexagrammic warding glyph creation for every Ordinator. A copy is kept by everyone from the lowest Scout-Novitiate to the Legate himself at all times, and failing to have it present on ones person is severely punishable. It acts as both a spiritual guide, and is always carried alongside the Liber Exorcismus for both theoretical and practical applications in the fight against warpspawn.

The Cults Orisonus
Five Orison Sub-Cults Exist within the Ordinators chapter. Each studies a way to understand and fight the warpspawn in their own way, and once a Brother-Initiate has proven himself worthy to the members of pne, he may be invited to join. An Ordinator may join multiple if he has the time, but for the average Brother-Initiate, one will likely not find the time to dutifully study with each. The Five Orisons are as follows:

The Six Wards of Bellerophon
The Sigil of the Ancients. An ancient polygrammic warding glyph used by sorcerors in early Terran history to protect themselves from the powers of malevolent warp entities and various gods. It is known to sever the connection of a warp entity to reality and is often engraved onto weapons and ammunition. It a crucial tool to protect Ordinators, their equipment, voidships, and serfs from the wrath of various elder warp entities both including and besides the four primary Gods of Chaos, as well as many different warp species to a lesser extent. It repels warp energy strongly, and is one of the most frequently used wards of the chapter.
The Warding Glyph of the Medios Daemontrap is used to bar the movement through its confines or vacating the animus from the corpus by Daemons Lesser or Daemons Ordinary as well as to help immobilize and frighten them with the idea of being trapped and humiliated before their gods and fellow daemons. It is often inscribed inside of Ordinator armor and the hulls of ships in great repeating patterns to prevent all but those most powerful Neverborn to break it or pass through.
The Warding Glyph of Undefiled Wisdom is said to have been created by a man to learn the language to communicate with seemingly benevolent warp entities in the 500s.M2. Successful in its creation, its purpose was to ensure that any daemon or creature of the warp is unable to lie within sight of the ward. Since the Emperor's Ascension, however, it also allows for the Emperor's Tarot to be read with greater clarity and alacrity. For those who fall asleep bearing it on their bodies, the Emperor often appears in their dreams bearing various messages of various degrees of clarity.
The Seal of the Sleeping Eye is said to protect any bearer from the notice of the Chaos Gods or the thousand lesser gods of xenos species past and present. It is said to inhibit the spread of warp energy as well, and is often used to mark protected boundaries. It is well known within one of the chapter's Orison Sub-Cults that this seal was used to keep an awakening xenos god from being fully birthed in an early campaign of the chapter, sending it instead into a state of frozen animation. It is one of the most powerful and dangerous seals every Ordinator is expected to master.
The Seal of the Sun Rising is a glyph used to amplify the connection to the warp of those within its boundaries, often used in massive lattices to aid Librarians of the chapter to elicit visions or amplify powers. It can also be used to draw the attention of warp entities to be drawn into traps or for various rituals. It is highly dangerous to engrave, and the wrong arrangement of the arcane runes has been known to cause localized warp surges. Nevertheless, it is frequently used to use the power of the warp against its denizens.
The Seal of the Seven Names is a ward which invokes the protection of the Emperor by using seven ancient names he was known by as various aspects of a guiding presence in the dawn of human history, according to chapter lore. It is said His true name is among the Seven, and calling it brings His eye to the inscriber and ensures his protection. It has been noticed that many who bear the sigil come into contact with the angelic Living Saints of the God-Emperor frequently. It is even rumored that those who carve it into themselves are then reincarnated as a warp entity in service to His sacred purpose, though this is considered unproven by the Arcanii and Pontifexii of the chapter.
